With the arrival of the High Definition Mini DV Handycam, Sony has developed a new Mini DV Cassette for HDV recording.
Sony's DVM63HD HD DVC tape offers the highest quality recording media for the consumer or prosumer making the step-up to an HD camcorder, allowing for an incredible 63 minutes of recording time in 1080i video.
DVM63HD Mini DV cassette features AME-II Evaporation Media Technology with high density and high performance Hyper Evaticle IV Magnetic Particles, resulting in enhanced picture clarity with superior image quality. This Mini DV cassette also realises more stable tape running and playback performance and is excellent for long-term storage. Sony strongly recommends this tape for HDV recording and editing for HDV Handycam.
